This is something I've always wondered. The Bee Gees are a band consisting of 3 brothers who were born in Isle of Man, England and moved to Manchester, England when they were kids. They were born and raised in UK to English parents and have English accents, they moved to Australia as adults and are now considered an Australian band even though they are all British? How does that work? Also, AC/DC, all of the members are either Scottish or English, there's just one Australian drummer but they are considered an Australian band. Again, how does that work? Kylie Minogue has lived in UK for years, we don't consider her English because she's Australian. The Pretenders, The Jimi Hendrix band and The Killers all formed their bands in UK, we don't consider them English. We have enough British bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Oasis, Muse, Coldplay, The Libertines, The Smiths, Florence and the Machine, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Kate Bush, Dusty Springfeild, The Animals, The Kinks, The Police, Sex Pistols, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc... but still....
